The Problem

Most sourcing challenges
are solvable with the right expertise.

Companies that buy internationally face a predictable set of problems. Every one of them has a solution — when you know where to look.

01
Supplier Quality Failures
Products arrive out of spec, dimensions are wrong, or materials fall short. Qualifying and managing overseas suppliers requires a structured system — not guesswork.
02
Shipping Delays & Logistics Chaos
Ocean freight timelines shift constantly. Without the right freight partners and proactive planning, production lines stop waiting on parts.
03
Tariff & Import Compliance Risk
Misclassified HTS codes, unplanned duties, and shifting trade policy can erase your cost savings overnight. This requires someone tracking it proactively.
04
Single-Source Dependency
Relying on one supplier for a critical component is a risk most companies don't recognize until it's too late. Supplier diversification is essential.
05
No Supply Chain Visibility
When there's no clear picture of where products are in production or transit, planning becomes guesswork. The right visibility systems change that.
06
Rising Procurement Costs
Freight rates, material costs, and currency shifts erode margins. A strategic sourcing review often uncovers significant cost reduction opportunities.

About Dylan Faltus
Dylan Faltus — Supply Chain & Sourcing Consultant

Built on execution, not theory.

This career was built in the field — working directly with overseas manufacturers, freight providers, customs brokers, and industrial buyers to move mission-critical products across the world and into the hands of companies that couldn't afford delays.

Over 15 years of work in highly specialized industrial markets has covered sugar manufacturing, cement production, mining, and heavy industry — sourcing custom-engineered castings, forgings, fabrications, and wear components from suppliers across Asia, South America, and North America.

Purchases negotiated across multiple continents, customs crises solved at 11pm, and components delivered to mills with three days before a critical shutdown. That's the experience brought to every engagement.

Most consultants in this space come from theory or corporate management. This experience comes from real-world execution — and from understanding both the supplier's perspective and the buyer's operational reality. That combination is rare.

Execution
The work was done firsthand
Not managing teams who did it. Personally negotiating, sourcing, shipping, clearing customs, and delivering results.
Industrial focus
Specialized in complex products
Custom-engineered castings and wear components require supplier qualification, QC oversight, and technical understanding.
Both sides
Supplier & buyer perspective
Years working with overseas manufacturers means understanding how they operate — making this a more effective advocacy for buyers.
Practicality
No generic frameworks
Every recommendation is grounded in your actual suppliers, your products, and your operational reality.
